Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PharMentor, including the student mobile application, supervisor web portal, APIs, and website at pharmentor.app (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About PharMentor
PharMentor is a platform for pharmacy clinical training follow-up. It helps colleges and supervisors manage schedules, verify on-site student presence, review tasks and progress, and communicate with enrolled students. PharMentor is an educational and training oversight tool — it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Eligibility and institutional access
- The Service is offered to participating colleges, training programs, and their authorized staff and students.
- Student accounts are created and managed by the institution; students sign in with credentials matched to an institutional roster.
- Supervisor portal access is restricted to users authorized by the institution or PharMentor administrators.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of institutional policies.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or automated abuse.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or training status.
- Upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains unlawful material.
- Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except as permitted by law.
Supervisors and staff must use student data only for legitimate academic oversight and training administration.
4. Training monitoring and device permissions
The student app may request permissions such as location, camera, and notifications to support training attendance verification, on-site tasks, and supervisor communications. By using the student app during training, you acknowledge that location and related activity may be recorded and shared with your assigned supervisor and institution as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. User content
You may submit messages, photos, and other materials through the Service (“User Content”) for training and supervision purposes. You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant PharMentor and your institution a license to host, store, display, and process it as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for User Content you submit and must ensure you have the right to share it.
6. No medical or professional advice
PharMentor does not replace professional judgment, clinical supervision standards, or institutional policies. Information in the Service is for training administration and oversight only. Always follow your college, supervisor, and applicable professional requirements.
7. Service availability and changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable, especially for maintenance, security, or product improvements.
8. Fees
Access for enrolled students through the mobile app is provided without in-app purchases. Institutional arrangements for colleges and supervisors are governed by separate agreements between PharMentor and the institution, where applicable.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by PharMentor or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to identify the Service.
10. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, push notification providers, maps, or app distribution platforms). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that attendance verification or location data will be accurate in every circumstance.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PharMentor and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred (100) USD if no fees were paid, whichever is greater, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PharMentor from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Suspension and termination
We or your institution may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or no longer qualify for institutional enrollment. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Amman, Jordan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
